LISKEARD may have a new fish and chip shop.
A planning application has been lodged with Cornwall Council for the change of use of a unit on the Holman Road industrial estate off Charter Way.
The proposal includes the installation of an extractor system.
‘There is a real need for the provision of another fish and chip shop in Liskeard which presently has just the one and is insufficient for a town of this size,’ says the applicant, Mrs Clare Bevan.
Comments on the application can be made on the planning register at cornwall.gov.uk using the reference PA18/01768.
