A VILLAGE could be in line for 33 more new homes if plans submitted to the local authority are approved.
The scheme in Calstock would see 15 affordable homes built on land at the former Bridge View Nurseries, as well as 13 open market houses.
There would also be five self-build plots on the development.
A new access road to the site would be created off Church Lane.
The applicant’s agent, ARA Architecture, says that the mix of housing provided in the plans has come as a direct response to the Calstock Local Housing Needs Report Survey.
The plot in question was the most favoured of six potential sites for new housing in the village, says Cornwall Council, which carried out the survey in 2010-11.
