A PROPOSAL to build a new four-bedroom house within the garden of a property would be “overbearing in its scale” says a local council.
Menheniot Parish Council has objected to the plans from a householder in Merrymeet.
The Council said that the application failed to meet the criteria for residential infill development – and that the new house could potentially overlook neighbouring properties.
