Persimmon Homes has applied to Cornwall Council planning for approval enabling it to begin the third of four phases of its site at Addington, Liskeard.
This next phase will see the building of a further 150 houses towards the final total of 450 for which permission was granted in 2013.
When completed, the development will also have a local centre and public open spaces.
As well as matters concerning drainage and the relocation of affordable housing originally planned for phase two, this next phase will also include the formation of the new vehicular and pedestrian access linking the estate and the A390 at Addington to the B3254 St Cleer and Pensilva road at Trevecca.
