Planners said it has not been convincingly demonstrated that there is no longer any need for this agricultural tied dwelling in the local area.

The application was originally objected to by Maker with Rame Parish Council on the grounds that the land was not fallow.

Following a site visit and the submission of additional details including an ecological assessment and a contaminated land survey the parish council were re-consulted and have now supported the scheme.

PLANNING has been applied for three flats at Higher Bore Street, Bodmin. The ground floor is an Indian restaurant and takeaway.
