A proposal for new housing in a Tamar Valley village would result in an ‘overdominant and unsympathetic’ development in the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, Cornwall Council planners have ruled.
The plan for 22 houses on land to the rear of Prospect House in St Ann’s Chapel, put forward by Prospect Land and Developments Ltd, has been refused by the local authority.
