RESIDENTS of Callington and Kelly Bray are being encouraged to attend a community meeting about the future of their parish.
The Neighbourhood Plan exhibition will be the chance for everyone living in the area to share their thoughts with the town councillors and consultants helping to put the plan together.
The plan will be a vision for how Callington and Kelly Bray should look and be developed over the next two decades.
It covers housing, employment, community facilities and transport, and will be referred to when planning decisions are taken.
‘We represent the people of Callington and Kelly Bray and we are guided by what people tell us about where they live and how they feel about their home,’ said a town council spokesperson.
‘People here have a have a strong sense of identity. The Neighbourhood Planning Team wants to help people set out their vision for the future – we hope they’ll find the time to attend.’
The drop-in exhibition will be held at the Pannier Market on Friday, July 21, from 1pm-8pm and on Saturday, July 22, from 10am to 4pm.
