A FIVE-YEAR fight to keep a hall for community use in Kelly Bray has been lost. The Cornwall Federation of Women’s Institutes has confirmed its intention to sell the hall in Stoke Road on the open market, after it turned down an offer from the Kelly Bray Residents’ Association for the building. Callington mayor Cllr Andrew Long said he was ‘very disappointed’ that the Federation had ‘turned their backs on the people of Kelly Bray’.
