TWO drive-through restaurants for fast food and coffee are among the facilities that could be coming to a large development on the outskirts of Liskeard.

Willton Homes West has asked for pre-application advice for the scheme at Tencreek Farm which would create 14,290 square metres of new employment space.

Permission was granted back in 2016 for 275 houses to be built on the site plus some employment space but this has expired.

The latest proposal for employment development is similar to the one that was approved.

As well as the drive-throughs, there would be seven general employment areas as well as a large builders’ merchant and yard.

Westcountry Land and Homes announced earlier this year they planned a development of up to 275 homes and 40 retirement apartments at Tencreek Farm. No formal application has been submitted.

Willton Homes West, the prospective purchaser of the employment and retail side of the land, will be meeting with Menheniot and Liskeard Councils today (December 13) to present their ideas.
