MEMBERS of Cornwall Council’s East Planning Committee have voted to once again defer a decision on an application for 82 new houses in East Looe.
The application by Barratt David Wilson Homes for the second phase of its existing housing estate off St Martin’s Road near the Barbican has been deferred several times already.
A spokesperson for the Looe Strategy Group said: ‘The majority of committee members expressed concerns about allowing the proposal to proceed whilst many questions relating to the maintenance and monitoring of the flood drainage scheme remained unanswered.’
A spokesperson for Barratt Homes said that ‘it would be inappropriate’ for the developer to comment at this time.
