Plans for a business park at Trerulefoot have been knocked back once again with Cornwall Council’s refusal of an outline planning application.

The site on agricultural land to the rear of the existing service station on the A38 has been the subject of various past attempts to create employment opportunities, with outline planning approval having been previously granted in 1997.

The application most recently refused by the local authority was put forward by Mike Coles of Broadacre Property Ltd. The scheme, totalling 2,800 square metres, envisaged an agricultural-related packaging and distribution unit, rural workshops, office space and car parking.
