A NEW development of 100 houses would simply be ‘too big’ for Looe say the town council and local objectors.

At a planning meeting last week, town councillors resolved unanimously to object to a scheme put forward by a local family for land off Barbican Road in East Looe.

Present at the meeting were the agent, Mark Scoot, and 13 members of the public.

The proposal would consist of up to 100 homes and associated access and parking, an ‘extra care’ facility with up to 50 beds, and open space.
