Residents and groups in Torpoint are being encouraged to plan their costumes for this year’s carnival in the town.

The event will be held at the Cambridge Field on Saturday, September 30.

A host of categories in the competition will include decorated prams or pedal cycles, floats and walking entries, giving plenty of scope for creativity.
