Friday September was the date, while the venue was Pensilva Millennium Centre where the end-of-season presentations took place.

An excellent time was had by all as not only lots of trophies were presented by the organiser Gerry Edwards (ably assisted by Sally Sadler) but a fine array of raffle prizes and a disco/karaoke was enjoyed.

The Jolly's Shield for league champions went to the Bodmin Landers' side, consisting of Mavis, Ken and Lynda Jeffery and Richard Haynes. Runners-up were the Tigers, Jenny, Bob, Richard and Mike Rendle and Vera Tatton.

The Ladies' highest scorer was Lynda Jeffery (Bodmin Landers), who received a trophy donated by Noel Kenny. The men's highest scorer was Peter Elliott, who received the Gerry Edwards trophy.

The ladies and gent's highest spare trophies were supplied by Gold Star Soft Drinks and won by Margaret Edwards and Noel Kenny and Mike Rendle. The lady with the top average score was Lynda Jeffery, closely followed closely by mother Mavis where the gent's winners were father Ken Jeffery followed by Andy Hassam. All four received cups and trophies donated by Newland's Farm Dairies, Pensilva.

Keith Richards (Pensilva) also supplied the knock-out cup and trophies which Gerry Edwards' Potholers team consisting of Paul England, Nick Gilbert, Brian Smith and Mike Thomas won. Beaten finalists were the Gremlins, Andy and Chris Hassam, Andy Batten, Sylvan and Frances Pook.

The Country Lane Foods (Pensilva) Shield for the top lady on a ladies' only night was won by Mavis Jeffery with Mavis Cobb (Middlers) coming a close second. Pensilva Stores put up a similar shield for the top man on a men's night, which was won by Peter Elliott (Hillsecs), with Bob Rendle of the Tigers coming a close second. The Captains held their own contest, with the winner receiving a cup supplied by St Austell Trophies where the winner was Galaxy captain Ken Couchman, closely followed by Potholers' Gerry Edwards. The Golden Girls from the Health Centre, who were unable to climb off bottom place, were awarded with a pretty potty filled with many useful and much needed gifts!

To round off the presentations, Bob Rendle, representing all the skittlers, presented Gerry Edwards with a Garden Pedestal Birdbath (with a Robin and a squirrel) for organising the league and a most enjoyable presentation evening.
