Penzance A lost their unbeaten record with a vengence in the Men's Premier Division, going down 2-10 at home to Liskeard A and then by 9-2 at Redruth. As a result of their win Liskeard A have jumped to second position whilst for Redruth A, Ryan Fern and Jason Buckley won both their ties in straight sets.
Sunnybanks B were in action in Division 1 with very much contrasting results. At Bodmin A Richard Wilson and Adam Hayward gained the visitors a close 6-4 victory and repeated an unbeaten evening against Wadebridge A in a comfortable 9-3 result for their team. However, in their third match their young team were well beaten in a 2-8 reverse at Truro B whose Alan Pritchard and Dave Still were in fine form.
Dispite an unbeaten performance by Adam Jarvis and Dave Lancaster for St. Austell B against Wadebridge C in Division 2 East, the non-appearence of one of the St. Austell team resulted in a 4-6 loss being suffered. The last unbeaten record in this Division was lost by Bude B in no uncertain fashion against an impressive Liskeard B team who are now playing in a strong position at the top.
In Division 3 East, struggling Looe had no answer to Truro D who picked up all 10 points.
In the Ladies Premier Division, Truro A maintain leading position as a result of their 9-3 win against Bude A. Dory Crellin and Juliet Waters were the unbeaten pairing for Truro.
In Division 1 East, St. Austell C consolidated their second position behind Bude B with an 8-3 success at Wadebridge A with Muriel Coplin and Sylvia Rawle being unbeaten for St. Austell.
A minor surprise in Division 2 East was the impressive 10-2 win at second-placed Wadebridge B by the Looe team whilst Perranporth now take a 10 point lead in Division 2 West after another 7-4 result against Hayle.
