The results have been published of the annual examinations in the Cornish language which are set by Kesva an Taves Kernewek (the Cornish Language Board).
Examinations secretary, Maureen Fuller of Landrake, said the Board was particularly pleased with the grade four results, the best ever number of successful candidates in this grade.
Among those who passed were the following: Grade One Pass - Anthony Cory (Menheniot); Grade One distinction: John Dingle (Gunnislake), Sharon Heard (Horni-ngtops), Kate Markey (Harrowbarrow); Grade Two Pass - Ron Keen (Lanreath); Third Grade Pass - Susan Rockley (Looe), Karen Webb (Looe); Third Grade Distinction - Janet Stanton (Liskeard), Olive Williams (Callington); Fourth Grade Pass in Part - Antony Walpole (Gunnislake)
