CHILDREN and adults gathered to enjoy music, art, storytelling, food and fun as Liskeard Community Action (LCA) hosted its free Party in the Park.

The event in Thorn Park was supported by various volunteers and groups, including the Real Junk Food Project, who said they had fed 100 people with delicious food that otherwise would have been destined for landfill.

Spokesperson for LCA Leah Browning said: ‘A massive thank-you to everyone who took part - the performers, Jamie our tech support, the town council for allowing us to use the park and marquee, the stall holders and all the volunteers.’
