More than 250 visitors enjoyed a visit to the Boconnoc estate last weekend.

The Liskeard and District Fund-raising Group of Marie Curie Cancer Care organised the event so visitors were able to enjoy a display of classic cars, music by the Polperro Wreckers, Con Brio and saxophonist Jenny Jones.  The model railway display by Roger Honey was also open along with the house.

After visiting the gardens visitors could browse the stalls and enjoy home-made cakes and cream teas.  A grand total of £2,466 was raised.

The fund-raising group is very grateful to the many local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes, cakes, scones, Tiptree Jam and Rodda’s cream.
