Channel 4's new programme ICONS is looking for people to take part.

This century has been amongst other things the age of cinema. As it draws to a close, ICONS will focus on some of the female screen icons whose looks have taken a prominent place in social, cultural and film history.

Consequently we are looking for people who have in some way been inspired, touched or influenced by a female cinematic icons of the past century. If you're a fan of Doris Day, if you had your hair styled like Lauren Bacall or if you proposed to your wife after watching the latest Veronica Lake movie, we would like to hear from - infact we would like to hear from anyone with anything to say about cinematic icons and how they might have featured in their life.
