A TINY ice cream parlour situated on the busy thoroughfare of Polperro has been sold by Miller Commercial of Truro off a guide price of £95,000 after receiving major interest from potential buyers all over England. Measuring just 8.1sq metres, the wooden, roller-shuttered ice cream parlour has generated a wealth of interest from a number of bidders, with the freehold eventually going to a Cornwall-based buyer. Russell Weetch, Head of Business Transfer at Miller Commercial, said: 'Our initial marketing campaign in July generated considerable publicity both locally and nationally and as a result our agency was approached by a large number of interested buyers, not only from Cornwall, but from throughout the UK. 'The village of Polperro is a major tourist attraction, and the parlour was able to demonstrate a healthy sales record.'
