England women’s modern pentathlon star Heather Fell is set to inspire young people in Liskeard at a Sportivate learn to ride horseriding project next week.

The scheme is one of the key initiatives to create a sporting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Heather is an Olympic silver medallist and former world number one competing at elite tournaments across the globe.

She will be visiting the Sportivate horse riding project, at Polmartin Riding Centre, in her capacity as a Sport England Sporting Champion.

The sessions will take place on Monday (October 19) and Monday, November 16, from 3.45pm-5.45pm, thanks to Cornwall Sports Partnership, who provide Sportivate funding in the area on behalf of Sport England.
