A RUNNER will take on his biggest challenge yet as he crosses Cornwall in memory of his niece's baby daughter.
Ollie Lee, from Seaton, will set out on Saturday to run the 45-mile Saint’s Way from Padstow to Fowey and then along the coast path home.
He’s doing the run in tribute to his great niece, nine-month-old Phoebe Hoskin, who died in April after suffering with a complex brain tumour.
Phoebe and her parents, Ollie’s niece Jade and her fiance Sam, were supported by the team at Little Harbour, the children’s hospice in St Austell run by Children’s Hospice South West. Ollie wanted to raise funds for the hospice after all of the support they gave his family, and continue to provide Jade and Sam as they come to terms with Phoebe’s death.
“The support from friends, family and colleagues has been inspiring and I am so pleased that we reached our target of £1,000.
Anyone who would like to support Ollie’s running challenge in memory of Phoebe should visit Justgiving.com and search for Ollie’s Padstow Run Home.
