Legendary singer songwriter Dean Friedman collaborated with NME “emerging talent” The Ollie West Band who will be playing on Saturday June 29 at Carnglaze Caverns.
The Manchester-based band bring their sound described as ‘cinematic, orchestral pop’ to this unique venue.
When writing his new single “The Ballad of Richard and Sophie” Ollie wrote a chance email to the legendary American singer songwriter Dean Friedman asking if he would like to collaborate on his new song. This quickly led to a two hour recording session with Dean in between his busy tour schedule.
Following their launch gig in Chorlton in April the band hit the road for a 16 date UK tour spanning the length and breadth of the UK.
