Details of a new school for autistic children to be opened in Blackwater, Truro in January 2000 were outlined in a meeting held in Truro recently.

Starting with a small number of children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the school will offer an educational input into the children's current programmes of support and care.
