The CLA, which represents farmers, landowners and rural businesses, has appointed a new territory manager for Devon and Cornwall to replace one of its longest serving recruiters, Roger Daniel, who retired at the end of 2016.

Sue Osmond, who lives on Bodmin Moor, takes over the role having spent the last few years working for Cornwall Farmers, part of Countrywide Farmers.

She lives on a smallholding in the middle of Bodmin Moor and breeds coloured Ryeland sheep – which she has shown with some success.
