LOOE and Saltash have both appointed new mayors at ceremonies held this week.

The new mayor of Looe has said the council has the interest of the town at its heart, despite not being united.

Looe town councillor Jimmy Dingle took over the position of mayor from cllr Michael Joy on Monday at the packed Guildhall in the town.
