CORNWALL FA's newly elected chairman, Geoff Lee, has set out his aims for the organisation for the season.
Lee, from Saltash, wants to ensure the county's part of the FA's National Game Strategy is implemented. This includes improving behaviour on the pitch and recruiting more referees.
Lee said: 'All this is already existing policy which has been discussed with the Board of Directors, and I'm looking forward to working more closely with our county secretary, Barry Cudmore, and all the staff and council members.
'It is a great honour to be chairman of the County Football Association.'
Lee (pictured left) played football for Penzance, Bodmin, Truro, Saltash and St Blazey, as well as for Cornwall in the 1970s. He went on to manage the county's youth team.
During his career as a teacher in Callington, he was a representative of Cornwall and the English Schools FA. His involvement with Cornwall FA began again in 2002 when he was the co-opted member for schools on the County FA's Council.
Lee was appointed as the FA Representative from Cornwall in 2005. In this capacity, he currently serves on the Vase Committee, the Women's Committee, the Football Development Committee and Girls' Centres of Excellence Sub-Committee.
