There are a number of new sporting opportunities soon to start at Liskeard's Lux Park Leisure Centre.
In an attempt to broaden the range of activities available to customers, old and new, young and not so old, the Centre is offering Taster Sessions in tranpolining, volleyball, badminton and indoor bowls.
The Taster Sessions - priced at £1 per session - are being led by experienced, qualified instructors and will be followed by six week courses.
For the first time Indoor Bowls is being offered to youngsters and precedes the visit of ex-world bowls champion Andy Thompson on the evening of Wednesday Oct 13 for a series of exhibition matches.

On Sunday October 31, Great Britain Olympic swimmer Nick Gillingham will be visiting Lux Park to take part in the Centre's Open Afternoon.
