The Callington and District Music for the Millennium festival is bringing together local people to make music of all kinds, from junk bands to string quartets, jazz to musicals and folk music to choral music - with music for everyone.

The Tamar Valley String Quartet starts off this month's offerings with a varied programme in their concert on Friday February 11 at Stoke Climsland Church at 7.30pm, £3 entry. On Saturday February 19, there will be a Folk Music concert in the bar at Duchy College starting at 8pm. £3 secures an evening of songs and stories from around the country by singersong writers Jon Heslop and Kathy Wallis and friends.
