Mr and Mrs A Sharp - a statement

Mr and Mrs A Sharp, formerly of Park View, Liskeard, have asked us to print the following statement

'We refer to the article which recently appeared in your newspaper relating to property at Park View, Liskeard, with a view to the correct facts of the case being made known to your readers.

We, as former tenants of the property, agreed to pursue the possibility of a mutual council house exchange. We each visited and inspected the other's property, as did the local authorities, and all agreed that such were suitable for exchange.

The property in Liskeard was left in a good and clean condition as can be confirmed by numerous witnesses.

We have never kept the number of pets at the property as has been suggested and of the pets kept by us the dog was never allowed into the property.'
