TWO-way traffic lights will be in place on the Launceston Road in Callington from tomorrow (Sep 21) as Wales & West Utilities carry out essential gas pipe upgrade works.
The work is expected to be finished by October 16 and the traffic management will be in place throughout.
Project manager for the scheme Barry Sale of Wales and West Utilities said: “We know that working on roads like this is not ideal, but it really is essential to make sure we keep the gas flowing to homes and businesses in the area, and to make sure the gas network is fit for the future.
“We’ll be working as safely and as quickly as possible to make sure the work is completed in a timely fashion.
“Our engineers are following all hygiene and social distancing guidelines and we would respectfully ask that you keep a 2m distance if passing our work site.”
