MOTORBIKING Santas have raised thousands of pounds for charity.

Children’s Hospice South West announced this week that £3,700 had been raised by the annual Santas on a Bike ride which passed through Saltash and Liskeard on the way to the Little Harbour Hospice at St Austell earlier this month.

More than 200 Santas took part in the annual event.

Jerry Rogers, one of the organisers, said: ‘I am absolutely delighted about the amount of money that our ride has raised. The atmosphere on the day was absolutely brilliant and people along the way were just so generous.’
