I read with great interest the small paragraph in the Cornish Times 18th February 2000 edition, regarding Caradon's Millpool/Polean Master Plan in the making.

It would be a lot more interesting if more details were available, as to what they had in mind, such as are they going to tidy up the whole Polean area which still remains a rubbish dump, dilapidated buildings, people dumping old cars and other rubbish, and whether the new owners of Graham's have any plans to regenerate some new life into the building they have moved into.

The people of Woodland View must be fed up with the view of rusty tin that has been there for years (the building itself must be over 50 years old) along with the other buildings in the area I presume that the master plan includes the whole area which involves West Looe Town Trust and Caradon.

I am sure the whole area could be made more commercialised with the help of other people who are willing to put money into the site, that would also bring much needed to jobs to Looe.

I'm afraid Caradon are just hoping with their fingers crossed for cash, as they remarked, subject to the scheme gaining funds in the 2000/2001 budget - this could take years.
