THE Blues unbeaten record disappeared at Mill Park as Millbrook ran out worthy winners in this enthralling contest on Wednesday. For the neutral the game was fascinating as Millbrook took the majority of their scoring opportunities, whereas Liskeard found home keeper Jason Chapman in superb form. Chapman's opposite number, Simon Zinn, did not have such an outstanding night was he should have done better with Millbrook's opening goal after 19 minutes. Zinn could only fumble John Morris's shot into his net to set the home side on the path to victory. John James and Mat Penry had been denied by Chapman before Millbrook's new signing, Andy Bowker, doubled their lead four minutes before the break with a vicious drive that Zinn could only deflect into the roof of his net. Liskeard tried hard to get back into the game with Lee Harvey in particular unlucky as Chapman denied him on two separate occasions. Victory was finally sealed midway through the second half as Ryan Fice beat the offside trap to coolly round Zinn and fire into the roof of the net to ensure that Millbrook shot to the top of the table.
