Park home residents from across Cornwall are invited to attend the annual general meeting of the Forum on Wednesday, July 20 at St Erme Community Centre, Castle Fields, Trispen, Truro, Cornwall TR4 9BD.

This year’s event will see the popular ‘Market Place’ area return where park home residents can speak to experts from Cornwall Council including Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Inclusion Cornwall, Age UK, Community Energy Plus, the Alzheimer’s Society and Cornwall Council’s Handy Person scheme. The key speaker will be Mr Brian Doick, President of the National Association of Park Home Residents (NAPHR). Doors open at 12.30pm and the AGM starts at 2pm.

The Forum has been set up to share information and best practice, network with other park home residents and help to keep people updated with the current park homes legislation. Its Committee is made up of park home residents and it receives support from Cornwall Council’s Communities and Devolution Team.

The Forum will be delivering a leaflet and AGM agenda to all park home residents in Cornwall over the coming weeks and everyone is encouraged to attend and support the Forum.
