A town mayoress says she is 'gutted' after her car was stolen and dumped in a river.

Val Pearn, the wife of Torpoint mayor, Mike Pearn, got a phone call from police just after 6am yesterday informing her that her car was submerged in the Hamoaze on the River Tamar.
