Two brothers who are playing in a rugby match of a lifetime at Twickenham, are to be flown back to Cornwall in a helicopter so they don't miss their sister's wedding.
Tristan and Ryan Moon, who play for Liskeard-Looe Rugby Club, couldn't miss the chance to play at the famous ground after the club won through to the EDF Junior Vase Final, which is taking place on May 9.
The brothers, who live in St Mellion, knew the date clashed with their only sister Hayley's wedding. After considering their options, they decided to hire a helicopter so that they could do both.
A quick shower and change into their wedding attire is all they will have time for before boarding the chopper straight after the match finishes at around 2.30pm. The privately-hired helicopter will take just over an hour to get back to Cornwall and will drop them in a field next door to South Hill Church, near Callington, for the start of the wedding at 5.30pm.
Dawn Moon, mother of all three, said: 'The wedding had to be put back so that the boys can play in the final, but the date couldn't changed as we didn't know they had got into the final till the end of March.'
Dawn is travelling to watch her sons play at Twickenham and will be catching the helicopter back with them after the match.
'It will certainly be a day to remember and one thing is for sure, I'm going to be the proudest mother in the country on that day,' she said.
