The team behind The Man Engine say they have been ’utterly blown away’ by the ’phenomenal’ public reaction to their ’homage to Cornish mining’
In a statement posted on social media, Will Coleman of Golden Tree Productions said the team wanted to thank everyone for their feedback and comments so far.
He said the team were sorry that some people had to miss the Man Engine’s transformation in Liskeard yesterday, after a delay of more than 50 minutes because of technical problems, and also regretted difficulties in Minions last night caused by unexpected road closures and traffic diversions around Upton Cross.
More large crowds have been greeting the giant mechanical puppet in Lostwithiel this evening, and tomorrow his tour moves on to St Austell, where audience numbers have to be restricted.
Will urged people who want to see the spectacular tour to leave lots of time and check on social media and www.themangine.org.uk for the latest travel and performance updates.
