Drivers planning to use the M5 between junctions 21 and 20 northbound are advised to allow extra time for their journeys following an incident involving two HGVs.

Two lanes of the carriageway between junctions 21 (Weston Super Mare) and 20 (Clevedon/Nailsea) will remain closed while resurfacing due to a diesel spillage takes place.

Drivers leaving Devon and Cornwall and heading north today are asked to check the situation and consider alternative routes.
