PEOPLE in South East Cornwall have bagged several thousands pounds in a daily lottery.
Four residents of Looe will be celebrating today after winning £1000 each in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The neighbours netted the windfall after PL13 2HT was announced as the daily prize winner.
Meanwhile in St Mellion, three people in the Keason Hill area also won £1000 each over the weekend.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said ’I’m thrilled for our winners and I hope they go and treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.’
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales from the lottery goes directly to charities and players have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
