SOUTH East Cornwall projects are among 183 across the South West sharing £3.2m in the latest round of Big Lottery Fund grants.
The funding aims to support a diverse range of projects enabling people to improve their skills, meet new people and strengthen their communities.
The Maker Woodlands Community Interest Company’s Consultation and Volunteer Recruitment Initiative will use £8,197 to host two events – a volunteer recruitment day and a stakeholder consultation event. This aims to attract new volunteers and use local feedback to plan future projects.
Sir Robert Geffery’s School and Community Farm at Landrake has been given £9,952 for its new community forest school to create an outdoor play area for children.
