South East Cornwall Rural Business Centre, based in Antony near Torpoint, has a diverse range of plans for the coming months.
This Saturday, January 25, there will be a viewing of the ‘Last Fisherman’ film for one night only in the Barn Cinema.
A variety of work-based and leisure courses are also run from the centre.
First aid is a topic well covered with courses for tree surgeons and forestry operatives; people who work in the childcare sector and a Worksafe First Aid at Work two-day re-qualification programme. There is also a half day course for fire wardens.
Community offerings include clay sculpture workshops and, on Saturday, April 11, a Spring Market. Traders of meats and cheese, fruit and veg, flowers and bulbs, artisans and crafters are invited to book their pitch. Contact [email protected].
