Lostwithiel is to become the home to a brand new three-day music festival due to take place in early autumn. Called ‘LostinFolk’, this year’s inaugural festival will take place over the weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 16, 17, 18, and it promises a spell-binding mix of roots music from around the UK. One of the headliners will be Jez Lowe and the Bad Pennies, who are well-known among the fans of folk. The festival will hold four concerts over the three days plus a latenight ceilidh after the Saturday evening performances. The line-up also includes Richard Digance, Johnny Coppin and Mike Silver, Sally Barker, and Exeter’s Wildwood Kin.
