Glimpse into the past
The exhibition celebrates the social and industrial links between Liskeard and Looe from the mines of Caradon Hill through the ancient market town of Liskeard, along the Looe Valley Line railway to the historic maritime port of Looe. It will also include archive footage of fishing and boats from the 30s, furry dance from the 60s, Looe's early tourism, entertainment and the beach.
The exhibition will be held in the Plaidy Suite of the the Hannafore Point Hotel on Tuesday, December 4, at 7.30pm.
