Developer looking

at Polean site

However, at the meeting of the council's Housing, Property Benefits, and Taxation Service Advisory Panel, Director of Resources, D P Worrall, advised members that consideration should be given to means of funding the council's contribution towards such a study as there was currently no money allocated.

The panel is also recommending to the Council Cabinet that further information is sought from the private developer presently expressing an interest in the site. Estates Officer Mr B Moriarity presented a confidential report with details of other interests in various parts of the area and stated a need for the feasibility study to consider the future of the site in a co-ordinated manner.
