Looe stuck in the Middle Ages
As a former resident of Looe, I hear that Looe Council has refused a planning application for Tesco.
I understand that it would improve prospects for the whole community, the young, middle-aged and elderly. The benefits this would bring to a small community like Looe are a lot of pluses, not minuses.
Work not only for the young, but for all ages; shopping facilities and more choice. I would also like to think the prices of food would be reduced.
Come on, Looe Council, get into the Year 2000, let's not go back to the Middle Ages, go forward towards the Millennium.
