Looe will be full of fun in and around the water this weekend as the town holds its annual raft race and Festival of the Sea.
With cookery demos and seafood tastings, wildlife trips and hands-on activities for all ages, the festival aims to help people discover the marine environment and its links to Looe.
The event on Sunday (Jun 4) has a strong conservation theme - look out for ‘Wallace the Wet Wipe Monster’ and an underwater litter-pick taking place on East Looe Beach.
At 2.30pm, spectators will line the quaysides to watch as teams race homemade rafts around from the beach to the bridge and back.
The Raft Race is always hotly contested by adult and junior competitors and plenty of fun for all on the sidelines as well as in the water.
