Looe Football Club runners aiming to raise thousands for their club are ’in good spirits and really buoyed up by the amazing support they are getting’, say organisers of their five-day mission to run the length of Cornwall for their club.

The team of eight started in Land’s End and finish in Looe on Saturday at about 3pm - when they’re hoping for a big crowd to cheer them home.

So far they’ve raised about £7,500 and are hoping to make more during the week.
