Teams of friends and families in the Liskeard area have raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK at this year’s virtual Relay for Life.
Although the event had to go online for a second year running, this didn’t stop groups organising a huge range of successful activities, from the 30 people that took it in turns to walk round Siblyback, to live singing streamed online, to an exercise bike relay, and a 24-hour Quiltathon!
The Relay for Life Liskeard Committee are on track to reach their target of £40,000 for the combined years of lockdown in 2020 and 2021.
We’ve got a report and great photos in this week’s edition of The Cornish Times - look out for your copy in the shops today!
