Fundraising at Stuart House

ACTIVITIES have been well under way in Stuart House, Liskeard, throughout February. The trust has no funding apart from that which the members raise and as a result, many events were organised to raise much-needed funds.

Members organised a craft sale and a 'sell-off' of bring and buy goods that had accumulated. All proceeds contributed to the repairs fund.

A special Valentine's event was prepared for the Supper Club with Sue Glencross providing heart-shaped pie tops and butter pats with red roses on the table.

A history group meeting provided archives on the drama group, the fire service and Old Cornwall.

The final event of the month was Lynne Goold's talk on Daphne du Maurier with photos which were displayed via video.
